Apohaqui Elementary School is nestled in a small village in a rural geographic area of over 500 square kilometers and 5800 citizens.  As indicated by the meaning of the aboriginal name Apohaqui, we are located at the "joining of two rivers,"  the Kennebecasis and Millstream Rivers, in New Brunswick.  Our students enjoy a warm summer, cool spring and fall, and a cold snowy winter.

Our school goals are to achieve strong literacy and numeracy skills as well as to gain pro-social skills important in every aspect of life.  Our families strive for their children to achieve a solid education from which to build a strong foundation for healthy family, productive work, and involved community lives.  The extended family also plays an important role in our children's lives.
